Answer any FIVE questions.

1. Discuss the meaning and scope of heritage management.

2. Identify the heritage movements under the management of Archaeological survey of India in Tamil Nadu.

3. Write about the institutional arrangements and the laws enacted for archives – keeping in India.

4. Describe the methods followed and the instruments used in archaeological excavations.

5. Examine the composition and the functions of National Archives of India.

6. Highlight a few private archives in India and point out their utility.

7. Give an account of the measures adopted for the display and preservation of a museum.

8. Attempt an essay enumerating the methods involved in repairing the archival records.

9. Assess the work done by Indian Historical Records Commission.

10. Write short notes on any FOUR of the following:
(a) Heritage Tourism.
(b) Ajanta caves.
(c) National Museum of India.
(d) INTACH.
(e) Under-water Archaeology.
